Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about Shipyu — tracking, intelligence, integrations, and more.

Shipyu is a command center for modern resellers and ecommerce operators. It unifies your orders, inventory, sales, profit, and outbound shipments into one dashboard — with automatic order import from your email inbox and eBay (more storefronts coming soon), and real-time tracking across 100+ carriers. Start with a 7-day free trial on any Tracking plan — no credit card required.
Multiple ways, all automatic where possible:
  • Email — connect with Google OAuth (one-click) or an app password for any provider (Outlook, iCloud, Proton, custom domains)
  • IMAP via app password — any provider (Outlook, iCloud, Proton, custom domains)
  • eBay storefront sync (more coming soon)
  • REST API for programmatic imports
Shipyu currently parses order confirmations and tracking from Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, Pokémon Center, Sam's Club, Costco, Nike, and The Home Depot, with more retailers added continuously.
Yes. Shipyu connects to your inbox read-only — we can read order confirmations but can never send, delete, or modify mail. Google OAuth tokens and IMAP credentials are both encrypted at rest, and you can revoke access any time from Settings → Integrations.
All of them. Connect with Google OAuth for one-click setup, or use an app password for any IMAP provider — Outlook, iCloud, Proton, Yahoo, custom domains. Credentials are encrypted and never exposed to the client.
Yes — this is the core of the Tracking plans. When you ship to customers, Shipyu polls the carrier in real time, surfaces delivery health on every sale, and sends alerts for delays, exceptions, out-for-delivery, and delivered events. Outbound live tracking is included on Starter and above; the Essential plan covers order/inventory/sales management without live carrier polling.
Yes — across every plan. Log eBay sales and Shipyu tracks revenue, fees, and profit per item. More selling channels are coming soon.
Automatically. Stock = what you've bought (via email-imported orders and eBay sync) minus what you've sold. No spreadsheets, no manual counts.
eBay for order sync, with more storefronts on the way. See Features.

Three channels: in-app bell, email, and Discord webhook. Configure per-event routing in Settings → Notifications. Shipment events (out-for-delivery, delivered, delayed, exception) and account events (billing, security) can each go to different channels.
